Wine. Right at the beginning the REVOLUZZER rises densely and richly from the glass. It smells of apple, pear and caramelized pineapple. It is rich in the mouth and shows its very own character, detached from all norms. (Konstantin Baum, Master of Wine)

Making. Only handpicked grapes from old vineyards, 48 h aroma extraction, smooth pressing in a French basket press and minimum 15 months in a 600l oak barrel (Halbstückfass) spontaneously fermented.

Story. The REVOLUZZER tells the story of a fighter for democracy and freedom of press, 200 years ago. Adam von Itzstein prepared the first nation assembly of 1848 in our wine making village Hallgarten. Today, you can enjoy our wines at the summer house, where the REVOLUZZER met 200 years ago.
