Wine. Clear aromas of white peach, lemon zest and orange dominate the nose of this wine. On the palate, the ROMANTIKER is lively and fresh with an invigorating finish. (Konstantin Baum, Master of Wine)
Making. Only handpicked grapes, 24 h aroma extraction, smooth pressing in a French basket press and minimum 12 months spontaneously fermented in a 1200l oak barrel (Stückfass).
Story. The name ROMANTIKER is based on the Romantic period in the 18th and 19th century. One of the Romantic poets, Hoffmann von Fallersleben discussed with others in our small garden house how to implement democracy in Germany. No epoch of literature is as close to nature as romance. The protagonists of that era are concerned with the rediscovery of the original meaning of life. This is what we still look for today.
