Wine. The REVOLUZZER 2018 RGG is a harmonious marriage of intense Riesling aromas and spicy wood. The nose has aromas of lemon zest, pineapple and ripe apple, combined with toast and lavender. On the palate, the wine is intense and rich with melting, well-integrated acidity and a long finish. (Konstantin Baum, Master of Wine)
Making. Only hand-picked and pre-selected grapes from old vines from the great Jungfer site. After 48 hours of flavour extraction, the grapes are gently pressed in the French basket press and then spontaneously fermented and matured in oak barrels for 24 months.
Story. The REVOLUZZER tells the story of the freedom fighter Adam von Itzstein, who 180 years ago prepared the first National Assembly of 1848 with the Hallgarten Circle.
